The makeover is something that every girl loves to wear. It enhances our beauty and helps us to be presentable anywhere we are. While doing a makeover, people tend to cover their imperfections to achieve that flawless skin with many products. But these makeover products can cause damage to our skin if used daily.
If we use makeover products suddenly thinking that it would cover all our imperfections and will help us to achieve that flawless skin, then it’s absolutely a nightmare. To do our art on our face, it should be prepared and maintain. Only on a well properly maintained and hydrated face, the makeover will sit and give a flawless and natural look.
Here are a few things, we can do before we start to do the makeover process.
Cleansing should be done properly on the face, to remove the dirt present in the pores. If we fail to remove the dirt, the makeover products, that we put can clog pores. This can lead to pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads on the skin. Relevant face washes help Cleansing.
Oily skin people can use deep cleansing face wash. This helps to remove the excess oil present on the face and makes our makeup to stay long. Dry skin people can use hydrating cleansers. Whenever we start to load our faces with products, make sure we cleanse our faces well and start.
Scrubbing the face can give a smooth canvas for the makeup products to sit on the face. This also helps to remove the dead cells on the face, which helps us to prevent the makeup from becoming caked and patchy. Scrubbing also helps to remove the tiny acne, blackheads, and whiteheads on the face. This makes the skin feel soft and makes it to get prepared for the next products that we give.
3. Hydrate with mask
Using the mask just before doing makeup helps the makeup to stay for a long time. Mask helps to clean the dirt on the pores deeply and repairs the skin to give a healthy glow. Doing this step just before the makeover process by giving a healthy glow to our face. Use a clay mask for about 5 – 10 minutes can do wonders for a flawless base makeover. Sheet masks can also be used to hydrate our faces.
It is necessary to moisturize our face before applying makeup products. Oily, dry, and combinational skin people should choose the moisturizer that suits their faces. Moisturizer can also be chosen according to our desired finishing of the makeover. Heavy makeup with a dewy finish can use an oil-based moisturizer. Matte and natural finish makeover look desire matte-finished light moisturizer. Applying moisturizer before makeover also prevents the layer of a makeover to react with the skin and maintains the pH level of the skin. This prevents the makeover from becoming grey and oxidized.
Sunscreen should be used with proper SPF before applying makeup. Choosing a sunscreen with hydrating properties and light-weighted formula can feel lighter on the skin. While using such sunscreen, we can ignore moisturizer. When we go out in the direct sun, to make the makeover to stay long, we should use proper sunscreen. Even when we go out for a function in the evening, for a photoshoot, or need to stand before light for a longer duration, sunscreen is a must as it prevents our skin from being damaged from the light.
